Terminal Station

Another detail, located near the Terminal Station is the "subway" which was actually a tunnel under the Terminal Station.  The tunnel included a streetcar stop midway through the tunnel by which passengers could enter the Station by using a stairway.  The tunnel is still in place, although, sadly the Terminal Station was torn down for a proposed development that has yet to take place.  The photo is from Street Railways, page 66.
