In model railroading, wonderful things have happened in the last 10 or so years. Digital technology has been applied to model railroads, in the form of control systems as well as sound.
The subject of this movie is a Bachmann 2-8-0 equipped with a Soundtrax decoder on a Digitrax control system. The setting is a junction and yard, not unlike that found adjacent to Sloss Furnace in Birmingham.
