This is a partial view of Fairfield (looking east) after blast furnaces No. 5 and No. 6 were built in 1928.  The high ore line is behind the furnaces.  The two buildings to the left of the furnaces are thought to be the blower house and a power plant.

The open hearth furnaces (c. 1925-26) are to the right, as well as the rolling mill complex begun in 1917.
