This is a partial view of Fairfield (looking south) after the blast furnaces were built in 1928.  The blast furnaces are on the left, adjacent to the high ore line, the 8 open hearth furnaces are center rear, cooling towers center foreground, and the rolling mill complex is at the right with the stacks of the soaking pits visible.
