Part of the Eureka exploration team having fun.  Randy Gray, Dr. Jack Bergstresser, and Jim Bennett are investigating the "mining" area on the sides of the hollow.  The consensus of the group, including Stewart and Nuckols, is that this was a mine site that provided iron ore to the Oxmoor furnace.  The location is right and the mapping record clearly indicates the location and purpose of the Eureka Mines.
